Math and Science Club

Dues:  $10 for membership

Purpose:  To promote an interest in the science and math fields and to experience science and math above and beyond the classroom for future career opportunities.  

Proposed Activities:  

1)  Various speakers (animal rehabilitation, various professionals- doctors, nurses, veterinarians, college professors, pharmacists, engineers,

      etc. during club meetings.

2)  Trips to universities for tours and shows- Western Kentucky University Fall Trip.

3)  Trip to Lost River Cave, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

4)  Trip to Human Anatomy Lab in St. Louis, Missouri.

5)  Trip to Museum, Incline Railroad, Aquarium, Lookout Mountain, and Ruby Falls- Chattanooga, Tennessee.

6)   Future trip to South Dakota for archeological dinosaur digs and viewing local sites such as Mount Rushmore.

**SPECIAL NOTE CONCERNING TRIPS:  Once all field trips are approved, members of the club MUST sign up with Mrs. Fox and then a list will be created so that parents can pay electronically to Hopkins County Central H.S.  ALL FIELD TRIPS MUST BE PAID ELECTRONICALLY TO THE SCHOOL THIS YEAR!  Mrs. Fox CANNOT accept checks or cash for field trips
