Beta Club - Chloe Whitten

Ms. Whitten is a 3rd year teacher at Central. She was an avid member of the National Beta Club during her middle and high school years at Muhlenberg North Middle School and Muhlenberg County High School - schools known across the state and country for their prestigious awards. While in Beta Club she participated in, and won various awards for, T-Shirt Design, Living Literature, Campaign Skit, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts. Her passion for the club led her to take on the role of Head Beta Club sponsor her first year at Central after the club was inactive for some time. She has been working tirelessly to rebuild and recruit, implement community service projects, and increase member engagement. The club's motto is, "Let us lead by serving others, " and the club's pillars are, "character, service, achievement, and leadership."

Beta Service Projects

August - September Service Project: "Creativity Cures"

Creativity Cures is a community service project that Ms. Whitten started when she was in college to collect art and school supplies for schools in need. The idea behind Creativity Cures is that when the creative needs of students are met, it can help “cure” some of the struggles that students are facing in their lives. At HCCHS Beta Club, we will be collecting art and school supplies for elementary schools in our community that are in need.
