Choir Performance Schedule 2026-2027

 
 Fall Student Show Case: October 1, 2026 at 6:30PM
-Cost: $5 General Admission, students and children under 2 free
 -Call time: 6PM
 Voices of Hopkins County: Thursday, October 15, 2026, 6:30PM-8:30PM
 -Cost: $10 General Admission, $5 Students, 2 and under are free
 - Call Time: 5PM
*District 2 Honor Choir (Chamber Choir only): September 28-29, 2026
 -Audition Date: September 21st (during Choir class time)
 -Will depart HCCHS at approximately 3:30PM
 -Rehearsal will be from 5:30pm-8:30pm on September 28th, we will arrive
 -We will eat supper after rehearsal: students need $20-$25 for this
 -Arrive at HCCHS between 10:45PM-11:15PM
 -Depart HCCHS at 8:30AM
 -Lunch will be provided at the facility that day (pizza)
 -Concert will be at 6PM at the Jack T. Wells Activity Center on the campus of
 Kentucky Wesleyan University. This is a free concert and guardians are
 encouraged to attend. Guardians may check their student out at the
 conclusion of the performance or students may ride the school provided
 Transportation home. We will eat supper after the concert! Students need 
 $20-$25 for this.
 
*Murray State University Quad State Honor Choir: November 1-2, 2026
-Audition Date: Tuesday, September 15th (during Choir class time)
-Overnight event
-Murray State University, Murray, KY
-Students are admitted by audition only
-For students who are accepted, we will meet at Central on Sunday, November 1st to
depart for Murray. Time TBD.
-Families will be invited to come and watch their student perform at the Historic Lovett
 Auditorium in Murray, KY
 Christmas Parade: Saturday, December 5, 2026 time TBD
Choir Performance Schedule 2026-2027
 *JROTC Officers are released from this obligation
 Christmas Performance-”A Storm Family Christmas”, Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 
 6:30PM 
 IMPORTANT: We want to partner with our Storm Band family for a one-of-a-kind
 performance like last year. This will be a joint Choir and Band concert.
-Cost: “pay what you can” (donations only)
-Call Time: 6PM
*THIS DATE IS HIGHLY SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS THE BAND MUST WORK ALONGSIDE
ATHLETICS TO PLAY AT GAMES FOR PEP BAND. ANY CHANGES WILL BE
COMMUNICATED AS SOON AS THEY ARE COMMUNICATED TO THE CHOIR.
Murder Mystery Dessert Theatre: February 18, 2027 at 7PM
-Highschool Audition Date: March 10, 2027 (after school)
-Cost: $10 General Admission, $5 Students, 2 and under are free.
-Call time 6PM
Choral Festival-March 30, 2027 at Glema Mahr. Time will be announced later.
Rehearsal will be during the school day.
Hopkins Harmony Jamboree: April 2, 2027 at 7PM
-Highschool Audition Date: March 10, 2027 (after school)
-Cost: $10 General Admission, $5 Students, 2 and under are free.
-Call time 6PM
“Come and See” Spring Concert (with band): May 6, 2027 at 6:30PM

-Audition Date: Tuesday, October 27th at Apollo Highschool in Owensboro, KY
-Louisville, KY (overnight event)
-Rehearsals held at Kentucky International Convention Center downtown Louisville.
-Students are admitted by audition only
-Families will be invited to come and watch their student perform at the Kentucky Center 
 in Louisville, KY (ticket purchase REQUIRED)
